UNBS is a Government Agency responsible for Standardization, Quality Assurance, Metrology, and Laboratory Testing (SQMT) with the objectives of promoting public safety, Fair Trade, Protecting Consumers and the Environment against Harmful Commodities.
UNBS seeks to offer Internship placement opportunities to undergraduate students for 3 months as part of our Corporate social responsibility to support students’ careers by providing professional guidance and counselling to enable them acquire the required skills, experience and exposure for survival after University.
Eligibility;
i. Continuing Undergraduate students in their second year of University Education if offering a 3 year course and third year student if offering a 4 year course
ii. Possession of a recommendation/introduction letter from a recognized institution or Department of study
iii. Willingness to undertake assignments given by the supervisor
iv. Willingness to abide by UNBS Human Resource Procedures and Policies Manual guidelines
v. The selection process shall follow management advice on available vacancies
