Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) in partnership with ASARECA organized a three-day Regional Inception Workshop on “Enhancing Adoption of Harmonized Standards in Eastern and Central Africa” at Hotel Africana, Kampala, Uganda. The Workshop was funded by the Association for Strengthening Agricultural Research in Eastern and Central Africa (ASARECA). The Workshop participants were from Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. |
| 14/2/2013 | The Minister of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives handed over a Motor Vehicle to UNBS, procured under the Economic Partnership Agreement Related Trade and Private Sector Support (EPA-TAPSS) programme. At the same function 5 Motor Cycles were handed over to District Commercial Officers of Lira, Mbarara, Jinja, and Iganga to be used for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) activities. The handover ceremony took place at UNBS Headquarters, Nakawa. |
