UNBS LED BY THE ED ENG. JAMES N. KASIGWA HOSTS THE EAC SECRETARIAT AND UGANDA’S PRIVATE SECTOR IN PREPARATION FOR THE UPCOMING EAC QUALITY AWARDS

The Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) is set to hold National Quality Awards to appreciate local manufacturers and service providers for exhibiting quality in their processes, products and services.

The Awards slated for October 2024, will see the national winners nominated for the East African Community (EAC) Quality awards slated for November 2024.

The awards are designed to contribute to sustainable competitiveness of Uganda's enterprises and EAC enterprises in the regional, AfCFTA and global market place through inculcating the quality culture, promoting implementation of quality management best practices and driving improvement and innovation in the quality of processes, products and/or services.
