UNBS HOSTS 38TH CASCO PLENARY AND WORKSHOP

For the first time ever, Uganda through the Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) hosted the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) Committee responsible for Conformity Assessment (CASCO).

The committee deliberates standards used in testing, certificates, inspection and accreditation. These are integral to easing trade under the  African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
