Mr. Yasin Lemeriga

Mr. Yasin Lemeriga is the Manager Certification Department. In his current role, he is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the UNBS certification services Leading a team of professionals, Yasin ensures that certification services offered to our clients meet the highest standards of quality and value. He also works to provide leadership in the development and implementation of innovative services aimed at supporting SMEs in the implementation of standards to improve product/service safety and quality and have their products/services certified.
 Holds a Master of Science degree in Physics (Nuclear and Radiation) and a Post graduate Diploma in Computer Science from Makerere University and he is a trained systems Lead Auditor/ Assessor for ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 15189 and ISO/IEC 17025. Actively participated in the establishment of the Intra-Africa Metrology System (AFRIMETS) the Pan-African Metrology organization and is the Current Chairperson of the COMESA-EAC-SADC Tripartite Metrology Expert Group.
