  • Leadership of several research/institutional governing bodies including: Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS), the committee of National Agricultural Research Laboratories Institute (NARL); the National Crops Resources Research Institute (NaCRRI) the Banana Research Network for Eastern and Southern Africa (BARNESA), the Makerere University Food Technology Incubator Program among others
  • Specialist training in marketing, crop post-harvest handling and communicating scientific information to non-scientific audiences.
