Quality Policy

.The UNBS Standards Department is committed to providing quality standards development and promotion services to meet the needs and expectations of its customers through the implementation of;

• Standards development process consistent with the ISO/ IEC Directives part 1 and 2
• Quality management system in line with US ISO 9001 and
• Applicable legislation

The Department shall strive to continually improve its processes and services through addressing staff competence, adoption of ICT and increased stakeholder engagement.

To achieve this Quality Policy, the Standards Department shall set Quality objectives that are aligned to the National STandardisation Strategy and the UNBS Strategic Plan. 

All Standards Department staff are required to familiarise themselves and to implement the documented policies and procedures in their area of operations at all times.
