The Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) has awarded Britania Allied Industries Ltd with ISO 9001:15- Quality Management System and ISO 22000:2018- Food Safety Management Certification.
UNBS Principal Certification Officer, Ms. Mariam Nalwoga, who represented the UNBS Ag. Executive Director, handed over the award certificates to Britania Allied Industries Limited Top Management, at their head offices in Nakawa.
UNBS is internationally recognised to provide International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) Management Systems Certification, following the accreditation by the South African National Accreditation System (SANAS).
According to ISO, a Management System is “the way in which an organization manages the inter-related parts of its business in order to achieve its objectives including, among others, product or service quality, operational efficiency, environmental performance, health and safety in the workplace.”
The ISO certification of a company’s Management Systems is a very important milestone because it demonstrates the company’s commitment to producing quality products.
