The Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) has awarded a Quality Management Systems (QMS) Certificate to Jubilee Dental following the successful completion of the audit process of its management systems against global standard, ISO 9001:2015.
The certification confirms that Jubilee Dental’s quality management system complies with the requirements of the International Organization for Standardization ISO 9001:2015 standard, which sets out globally recognized criteria for consistent service delivery, customer satisfaction, and continual improvement.
Speaking at the award ceremony, the UNBS Deputy Executive Director in charge of Standards, Ms. Patricia Bageine Ejalu, commended Jubilee Dental for its dedication to establishing, implementing, and maintaining a robust quality management system focused on patient safety, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
“The award of ISO 9001:2015 certification is a clear demonstration of Jubilee Dental’s commitment to delivering dental services that consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements. This achievement reflects the organization’s investment in quality systems, competent personnel, and effective processes.” Said Ms. Patricia Bageine Ejalu.
She also revealed that over 80 companies have received Management Systems Certification for different standards like the Quality Management Systems, Food Safety Management Systems, Environmental Management Systems, Occupational health and safety management systems and others.
Ms. Patricia Bageine Ejalu encouraged other companies to embrace Quality Management Systems certification for operational efficiency, enhanced risk management, enhanced credibility, compliance to regulatory and customer requirements and competitive advantage in the marketplace.
The Executive Director of Jubilee Dental, Dr. James Magara, expressed his appreciation to the Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) for their support in attaining ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems certification. He noted that the deeper Jubilee Dental engaged in the certification process, the more they recognized its significant value to their operations and overall performance.
UNBS continues to promote the adoption of international standards to enhance the quality of products and services in the country. Through its Management Systems Certification services, the Bureau supports organizations in implementing best practices that drive efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
