MINISTRY OF TRADE, INDUSTRY AND COOPERATIVES (MTIC) AND UNBS SENSITIZE BUSINESS COMMUNITY IN NTUNGAMO DISTRICT.

April 7, 2017, Kampala Uganda. The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives (MTIC) in collaboration with UNBS organized a half day sensitization workshop for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSEMs) on Quality and Standards in the Western district of Ntungamo at the Ankole Resort and Spa on Friday April 7th 2017.

This workshop brought together the business community mainly MSMEs, wholesale and retail business owners in Ntungamo and neighboring districts.

These were sensitized on the UNBS Certification process and benefits, and the necessity of adhering to the required standards and quality.

This activity was supported by the ‘Quality Infrastructure and Standards Program’ (QUISP) that was implemented by the MTIC to improve the competitiveness of Uganda produces and service delivery systems in domestic regional and international markets.
