Shifting of testing laboratories from Nakawa to UNBS Head offices in Bweyogerere

Kampala, 10th June 2020 -  The Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) informs the public that effective Thursday 11th June, 2020, UNBS will not be receiving samples for testing at the Nakawa office.

This is to allow for preparations to shift the UNBS testing laboratories (Chemistry, Microbiology and Electrical laboratories) from Nakawa to the UNBS head offices in Bweyogerere, starting Friday 12^th June 2020.

Effective Monday 22^nd June 2020, UNBS shall only receive critical samples authorized in the fight against COVID-19 at the UNBS head offices in Bweyogerere.

The due date for official opening of the laboratories in Bweyogerere shall be communicated.
