SMEs

UNBS recognizes that majority of producers in Uganda are micro small and medium enterprises (M SMEs). We work with such organizations in all activities, including standards development, training, and certification. We design specific programmes to serve MSMEs in specific sectors, and these include the development of standards for new products, training on the use of standards, providing tests for product development and registration of products before entry into the market.

We encourage MSMEs to approach UNBS for information and other support in their businesses.
