International Relations

The office for international Relations is responsible for implementing the international policy of the Uganda National Bureau of Standards in line with the UNBS Act. This is undertaken through:  coordinating programmes, projects and activities of international standards and standards-related organisations that impact on UNBS mandate such as CODEX, IEC, ISO, OIML, BIPM; Following up on implementation of International Agreements and Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) that the UNBS has engaged in; and providing overall guidance on projects and programmes that UNBS has contracted with international partners.
