Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS)

Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) is a statutory organization established by an Act of Parliament of June 1983 and became operational in 1989. The UNBS Headquarters is located in Nakawa Industrial Area with regional offices in Lira, Mbale, Jinja, Kampala and Mbarara. It is governed by the National Standards Council and headed by the Executive Director who is responsible for the day-to-day operation of UNBS. Read more ...
